Q-crete’s Coloured Concrete range offers a bold, long-lasting alternative to plain grey concrete. Designed for driveways, paths, patios and architectural features, our integrally coloured mixes bring style and strength to residential and commercial projects across Southeast Queensland.
Using mineral oxide pigments added during batching, Q-crete ensures consistent colour throughout the entire mix — not just on the surface. This colour-through approach means your concrete retains its vibrancy even after wear, weathering or surface abrasion.
Why Choose Q-crete Coloured Concrete?
Coloured concrete is more than a design choice — it’s a durable, low-maintenance solution that enhances curb appeal and complements landscaping. Q-crete offers a wide range of colours and finish options, from smooth trowelled surfaces to textured, exposed or honed finishes. Our technical team ensures each mix is formulated for consistent colour dispersion and reliable performance.
To protect and enhance the final result, we recommend applying a Same Day Sealer immediately after placement, followed by a more durable sealer after curing. This helps intensify colour, reduce efflorescence and guard against staining.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is concrete coloured?
Integrally-coloured or colour-through concrete refers to the addition of pigments to the concrete or topping mix in order to colour the entire volume of concrete. Mineral oxide pigments are added at the batching stage in predetermined quantities and thoroughly dispersed through the concrete mix to ensure that all of the concrete is tinted to the specified colour. The concrete is delivered to site and then carefully placed and finished by experienced concrete placers in a similar manner to grey concrete.
Coloured concrete sealer
The application of a Same Day Sealer on the day of the concrete pour enhances curing, minimises efflorescence and provides protection against the subsequent ingress of dirt and grease. It also adds further intensity to the colour of the concrete. After several days a coat of a more durable sealer can be applied to protect concrete from subsequent staining.
